PUMA X BWGH - XS850 & XS698 - At the beginning of BWGH, there were two Parisian friends passionate about new horizons. They've been exploring urban culture for some time now in order to create a multidisciplinary organization, an authentic label. Resuming their prolific relationship, BWGH and PUMA come together to reveal their collection for Fall/Winter 2014. The brands, returning from the strength of their previous "Bluefield" collaboration, showcase ambitious, yet tasteful collections for this latest "Darkshadow" and "Dark Denim" delivery.

The footwear from the drop is centered around two silhouettes - the XS850 in Dark Denim / Madder Brown colourways, and the hybrid XS698 shoe - highlights of which are done up with rich blue/grey solids. Building upon last year's release, this Summer 2014 collection shows both the XS850 and XS698 silhouettes in premium combinations of leather, nubuck, suede and mesh. The "Darkshadow" range gets its name from the darker shades used in the color palette, which features the XS698 in a combination of grey, black, white, and off-white, finished with feature signature touches like the knitted logos on the sides. As they did with their "Bluefield" collab, BWGH looked for inspiration from famous artists to complete their take on these next two XS850's. The recently retroed XS850 models colourways were inspired by the work of major American expressionist artists such as Hans Hofmann, Helen Frankenthaler, and Ethan Cook. Known for their work in the abstract painting movement, the XS-850 x BWGH translates the obsession with intense and pure colours.
