Started by longtime friends Palmer West and Jonah Smith. The two are best known for their role as producers on films like Requiem for a Dream, Religulous, and A Scanner Darkly.
The Aether Apparel collection is specifically designed gear that will keep the wearer warm, dry and comfortable. The collection consists of modern styling and tailored cuts that are paired with the function of high-tech weather, oil and dirt resistant fabrics, Primaloft fill for warmth and articulated shaping for ease of movement.

With 300 grams of PrimaLoft® ONE insulation, the Highline offers incredible heat retention while remaining form fitting and low volume - essentially all the warmth of a puffer jacket without all the puff. The outer shell is made from a water-resistant Schoeller® microfiber fabric that has been diagonally quilted, while its inside liner is made from a silky-soft microfiber ripstop nylon.
The Stormy hooded jacket is their take on the classic Mackintosh trench coat. It is made out of a specially bonded Italian cotton to protect against the wind and rain. It features a shaped hood with leather adjustments, an articulated sleeve design, and a covered storm flap. The front hand-warmer pockets have been integrated with front drop pockets to allow for dual access.
A multifunctional city jacket and vest combo, the Nimbus is a 3-in-1 systems piece that lets you adapt as the weather changes. When developing the Nimbus, AETHER designers wanted to create two exceptional stand-alone pieces, then find a way to make those two pieces work together. In the past, they had continually found themselves disappointed with system styles because they tended to feel like forced compromises. The shell would either be oversized when worn on its own, or the interior insulation layer would be too unflattering to work as a stand-alone piece. Made from Supima® cotton jersey, the Henley neck was originally introduced for rowers to give them extended movement around the shoulders. The Slub Hoodie is a light-duty hoodie to give you an extra layer of warmth on mild days. Made from slub cotton French terry, it has an incredibly soft feel. An internal pocket with an audio-cord valve is located in the front hand-warmer pocket to allow for headphones access. Ribbed trim has been added to the cuffs and bottom hem.
