" I am many things. Photographer, ex-bicycle courier, current-bicycle racer, skateboarder, cat person. I started racing Alley Cats as a bike messenger and progressed to being able to win them. Naturally as a bike-messenger with a fixed gear bike I got myself out to the Burnaby Velodrome Club and started to learn how to ride the track and quickly found myself riding and racing on the track. I was hooked. I spent the first season of racing in 2011-12 learning the ropes and moving up the ranks to finish on top of the points of the Intermediate 'B' category of racers. Leading right into road racing season I hopped on board and spent the summer learning the tatics of road racing and doing consistently well in the Intermediate category on the road.

My second season on the track saw me starting the Elite 'A' category at the velodrome. Where while a steeper, and faster, learning curve saw me still steadily progressing and letting me race against Olympic and World Tour athletes including Tyler Farrar a cyclist who has won stages in all of cycling's Grand Tours. My second year on the track saw me again leading the points in the Friday Night series, and gave me a springboard into racing into the Elite categories on the road. This summer saw me winning a stage in the Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race, placing second in the BC Provincial Championships both on the road and on the track in Victoria BC. I'm stoked to have the support of Livestock to see how much farther I can go in cycling. This winter my next step is to race on the track internationally, planning to attend the Tasmanian Christmas Carnivals I will be racing against Olympians and World Champions on the track. The next three months will be the most intense and focused training and racing I've put in so far, and I am stoked to see where I will end up. "
