Dubbed “Training Day,” the short film pays tribute to James and his passion for all things active that help him on his journey toward greatness. The ad also shows the motivating and transformative effect that James has had on his fans and neighbors since his move to Miami, with people of all ages and sports joining in. Nike Basketball partnered with Wieden + Kennedy of Portland, OR, to create the film, and worked with producer Mike WiLL Made-It for the track, “My Shoes,” and award-winning recording artist John Legend to score the spot. The ad will air live during the Sunday night football game between Minnesota and Green Bay, which is also when a live campaign #striveforgreatness, also kicks-off.
